Hayden AI is seeking its first Engineering Manager for Cloud (Production) Infrastructure to lead the team responsible for reliability, roadmap, costs, and the engineers who build it. The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days in-office per week).
We're hiring our first Engineering Manager for Cloud (Production) Infrastructure to lead the team that owns this platform: its reliability, its roadmap, its cost, and the engineers who build it. You'll be a hands‑on leader who plans and coordinates across product, device, and security teams, sets the operational bar, and grows a small, senior team as our fleet and customer base scale.. This position is based in San Francisco and follows a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in-office per week.
Position requires travel for up to one week per year. Travel may include local/regional/national trips for client meetings, project work, training, conferences.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: 2+ years managing infrastructure/platform/SRE engineers, plus 6+ years hands‑on in cloud infrastructure. Experience running production systems with real uptime and on‑call obligations.
Core Skills: Deep, hands‑on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD, observability.
Compensation Range: $223K - $290K
