Job summary

GE HealthCare in Waukesha, WI seeks an Engineering Manager – Bay & Test to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for MR asset development, verification, and validation. You will own V&V processes, test labs, and calibration activities to ensure asset readiness and compliance.

You will drive ECR/ECO governance, mentor engineers and technicians, and foster cross-functional collaboration with facilities, quality, and program teams while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence in the bays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in product design and development.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading teams that include engineering technicians or technical personnel in a hands-on lab, manufacturing, or test environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to gain buy-in for initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians across multiple disciplines in a hands-on lab/test environment.
• Provide strong, visible people leadership with a hands-on presence in bays and test environments.
• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance planning for bay and test infrastructure.
• Develop and execute bay planning strategies and long-range asset planning.
• Establish and improve processes for test asset scheduling and real-time usage.
• Lead engineering test equipment calibration lab and external contractor relationships.
• Represent MR Engineering in facilities maintenance and future development initiatives.
• Lead EHS practices advocacy and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive recruitment, talent development, and organizational growth.
