Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Axion team to lead a cross-functional group of engineers in software, simulation, integration, and UI/UX. You will define technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive high-quality, scalable autonomy toolchain delivery for multi-domain platforms.

You will collaborate with product, hardware, and defense customers, advancing the state of simulation, real-time systems, and AI-enabled tooling to keep Axion at the forefront of autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience delivering complex software systems.
• Experience guiding engineering teams and roadmaps.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, and hardware teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers (software, simulation, integration, UI/UX).
• Own the technical roadmap and translate product vision into deliverables.
• Institute software engineering best practices: architecture, reviews, CI/CD, testing, metrics.
• Drive project plans, sprints, risk management, and timely delivery of milestones.
• Partner with product management, hardware/integration, and defense customers to ensure value.
