Databricks is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the App Traffic team responsible for critical networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will guide a group of infrastructure engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and drive execution on high-impact cross-functional initiatives.

You will collaborate with senior engineers on architecture decisions, focus on reliability and scalability, and grow strong engineering talent within the team, helping to advance Databricks’

Formación

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience with 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Experience leading teams on distributed systems, networking infrastructure, cloud infra, or platform infra.
• Strong judgment and ability to work with senior engineers on architecture and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a high-performing team of engineers across app traffic infrastructure.
• Drive design and evolution of available, scalable systems across clouds/regions.
• Partner with senior staff on routing, control planes, reliability, and developer experience.
• Oversee large, ambiguous, cross-functional projects with clear goals and ownership.
• Balance immediate priorities with long-term architectural investments and velocity.
• Recruit and mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and ownership.
