Job summary

Hinge Health is expanding into GI care and seeking an Engineering Manager for GI to build a new product from the ground up. You’ll work with Product, Design, and Marketing across SF, Montreal, and Bangalore, contributing code ~15% of time while growing a high‑performing team.

You’ll lead the creation of the new vertical, run rapid experiments, and set engineering direction to deliver a best‑in‑class digital GI care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of ~5 engineers in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
• AI-native development with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
• Strong React Native, mobile, or client-side engineering background with shipping UI at scale.
• Experience owning and evolving a major product surface end-to-end — architecture to production.
• Experience designing, running and interpreting A/B experiments.

Responsibilities

• Build a team of engineers across React Native and backend services, establishing goals and rituals.
• Define the new vertical/product line from scratch.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Marketing to align strategy and success metrics.
