Qualifications

• 7+ years of total infrastructure/SRE experience with people management.
• Ability to hire, develop and retain strong engineers with actionable feedback.
• Strong operational and reliability judgment including incident response and root cause analyses.
• Bias for automation; minimize repetitive manual work and know when to use manual steps.
• Credible view on AI-native engineering and agentic SDLC operational needs.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing technical projects, budgeting, estimates, tracking, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Snowflake; Azure/GCP a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, GitHub, Kubernetes, Python, Terraform/OpenTofu, and virtual networking.
• Experience with regulated or validated workloads is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a team of infrastructure and SRE engineers and manage performance.
• Set the technical direction and roadmap for infrastructure and SRE with focus on reliability, security, cost, and developer experience.
• Partner with engineers and data scientists to deploy secure, observable, and reliable software across containers, ML pipelines, and AI workloads.
• Oversee infrastructure services across multiple clouds and environments, including compute, load balancers, databases, and secrets management.
• Ensure IaC, container images, and CI/CD pipelines meet high engineering quality standards.
• Review requirements and design docs; promote knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Drive training and mentoring on infrastructure and SRE across the organization.
• Own the team's support rotation, escalation paths, and incident retrospectives.
• Manage budgeting, resourcing, and reporting for infra initiatives.
