Loop is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional product team responsible for the shipping and logistics domain. You will guide technical direction, prioritize work, and partner with product and design to deliver high-quality software at scale.

You will drive AI adoption, mentor engineers, and uphold engineering fundamentals like TDD and SOLID. This role requires strong communication and a collaborative, high-trust leadership style.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing, product-focused software engineering teams.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with architectural decisions.
• Experience shipping software in SaaS/startup/ecommerce environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with AI adoption and using AI agents in project planning.
• Strong Agile/SCRUM practices and iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an autonomous, high-performing engineering team.
• Own shipping and logistics domain end-to-end, carrier integrations, rate shopping, label generation.
• Set team technical direction, backlog priorities, and delivery processes with input from stakeholders.
• Champion AI adoption as a default tool for project planning, triage, and development.
• Ensure engineering fundamentals like TDD, SOLID, and sustainable delivery are practiced.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape the roadmap and communicate decisions clearly.
• Foster accountability, visibility, and healthy communication across the team and stakeholders.
• Promote Loop’s mission and values through leadership and everyday interactions.
