Job summary

Valon in New York City and San Francisco (with remote options) is seeking an engineering manager to lead 4+ engineers across one or more teams, working with product, design, and operations to build the future of Valon.

You’ll empower your team through mentorship, define long‑term strategy, provide strong technical leadership, and help shape the engineering culture at Valon. The role combines hands‑on coding and architecture with people leadership in a fast, highly technical fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Tech lead or engineering management experience.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of building and empowering long lasting teams.
• Experience in a highly complex and technical environment.
• Experience in a fast paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem solving.
