Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for the AI Posture team to lead a backend group of 8–10 engineers.

You’ll combine empathetic leadership with deep Go backend expertise to build high-throughput microservices and scalable infrastructure. You’ll work with Product, Security, and SRE to align roadmaps, drive AI tooling adoption, ensure production readiness, and optimize cloud resources.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in software engineering management leading distributed backend systems teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead a backend engineering team with empathy and ensure growth.
• Drive AI tooling adoption and intelligent automation across SDLC.
• Architect and optimize high-throughput microservices in Go.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure/Platform for cloud resource optimization.
• Align roadmaps with Product, Security, and SRE to deliver multi-quarter plans.
• Ensure production readiness via deployment pipelines, telemetry, tracing, and incident response.
• Communicate trade-offs and architecture to executives.
