Job summary

Figma is seeking a senior engineering leader to grow and guide the AI Developer Experience organization, focusing on AI-powered developer workflows and the cloud agent platform. You will drive strategy, architecture, and cross-functional alignment with product, security, and infrastructure teams.

The role requires building and mentoring engineers, delivering scalable, reliable systems, and shaping how AI tooling accelerates software development across the company.

Qualifications

3+ years leading infrastructure or developer-experience teams.
Strong distributed systems knowledge and production infra experience.
Experience with AI/ML workflows and LLM-based tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of engineers building and operating AI developer workflows and the cloud agent platform.
Own the technical strategy and roadmap for AI Developer Experience, including sandbox runtime and workflow orchestration.
Hire, scale, and establish team culture, cadence, and processes from the ground up.
Drive reliability, observability, and scalability to production-grade standards as adoption grows.
