Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. Newport News Shipbuilding seeks an engineering leader to direct PLM administration for NX/Teamcenter and related tools.

You will lead a cross functional team focused on delivering high‑quality solutions for aircraft carrier and submarine programs, while safeguarding safety and driving continuous improvement. You should bring a bachelor's in engineering (ABET), 8+ years in research, engineering and design, plus experience with EVMS, Teamcenter, NX and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design.
• Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; PhD with 4 years.
• Experience with Teamcenter, NX and SAP in engineering contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross functional team responsible for engineering administration of PLM and related tools.
• Coordinate with value stream including IT, planning, production control and trades.
• Ensure personnel safety, labor resource management and cost estimates.
• Manage earned value management system and monthly contractual progress.
• Generate metrics, conduct quarterly audits, and develop procedures.
• Oversee cost, quality and schedule performance and drive continuous improvement.
