Job summary

Foresight Land Surveying, a BHI Company, is seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated engineering team, guide technical execution, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery across our civil and surveying programs. You will mentor engineers, balance hands-on design with strategic planning, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

A PE license, a bachelor's in engineering or related field, 7–10+ years of experience, and 3+ years in a supervisory role are required.

A Day in the Life of an Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at BHI, you will lead a dedicated team while overseeing technical execution and project delivery. You will:

• Mentor, manage, and empower a team of engineers to reach their full potential.
• Balance hands-on technical guidance with strategic project planning and resource management.
• Drive project delivery on time and within budget, ensuring top-tier engineering standards.
• Maintain a proactive, positive leadership style while working closely with divisional teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 7–10+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory/management capacity directly leading engineering teams, managing budgets, and driving project delivery.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE design software, engineering codes, and safety/regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
