Job summary

Gemini is seeking an experienced Manager, Software Engineering to lead and grow a high-performing team in New York. You will shape organizational design, oversee the delivery of scalable software, and collaborate with product, security, and executive stakeholders.

Strong mentorship and hands-on expertise in Python, Django, and Next.js are essential. You will drive hiring efforts, manage performance, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-moving crypto and Web3 environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery.
• 3+ years of managing engineering teams delivering high-quality software for customers.
• Technical aptitude to discuss architecture and product decisions with engineers.
• Experience with modern software engineering concepts.
• Interest and/or expertise in Scala or a similar backend programming language.
• Experience establishing successful partnerships with product managers, project managers, and executives.

• Create and evolve a structure and organization design for your team.
• Create maintainable software, code reviews and testing using Python, Django & Next.js.
• Provide technical input for planning, design, security review and requirements for new products and features.
• Drive performance for your team and meet external and internal deadlines and targets.
