I’m currently working on an exciting Engineering Manager opportunity with a growing technology and digital engineering organization with a strong presence in the New York / New Jersey market.
The company has been established since 2014 and has grown into a global digital technology and consulting organization supporting major enterprise and Fortune 1000 clients. Their work spans cloud, AI, data, digital engineering, product engineering, and digital transformation, giving engineering leaders the opportunity to work on large-scale, technology-driven initiatives.
They recently expanded their New York presence with a new office near Times Square, strengthening their footprint across the Northeast and bringing teams closer to clients and technology talent in the region.
You’ll lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams working across multiple distributed workstreams. This person will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, delivery, architecture, and operational performance while partnering directly with senior client and business stakeholders.
You’ll also have the opportunity to influence AWS cloud architecture, modernization, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and enterprise technology transformation.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being more than just a people manager and wants to remain close to technology, architecture, delivery, and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong AWS technical expertise, engineering leadership, enterprise delivery experience, and executive-level communication skills.
AWS certifications, Kubernetes experience, cloud cost optimization, security/compliance, and experience scaling highly available distributed systems are all a plus.
