Dynatect Manufacturing Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and translate complex customer needs into practical, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of engineering management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Seven to ten years of design and/or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading technical people, projects, and organizational change.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office; Autodesk experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team through clear goals, regular feedback, performance reviews, and thoughtful resource planning.
• Direct custom-product engineering work from concept through post-order design and production deliverables.
• Improve engineering processes, workflow, and controls to strengthen quality, responsiveness, capacity, and on-time performance.
• Guide cross-functional teams through complex projects while managing technical risk, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Establish best practices for drawings, bills of materials, routings, and supporting documentation to improve manufacturability and product-cost accuracy.
• Champion continuous improvement, advanced product quality planning, field-failure review, and custom design solutions.

Occasional weekend or early/late hours may be needed, along with travel to suppliers, customers, and other Dynatect locations.
