Job summary

ProLift Rigging in Memphis, TN seeks an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of engineers, shaping the future of one of North America’s respected lifting and rigging companies. You will influence strategy, mentor future leaders, and tackle complex engineering challenges with a purpose beyond profit.

You will develop lift methodologies, tools, and processes while partnering with operations, PM, sales, and exec leadership to ensure safe, successful project execution and measurable business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
  • 5+ years of heavy lift, rigging, or related engineering experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams and driving engineering excellence.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with lift planning and engineering software.

Who You Are

You are a problem solver, team builder, and technical leader who thrives on tackling complex challenges.

You enjoy developing people as much as solving engineering problems and are energized by the opportunity to leave an organization better than you found it.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years of heavy lift, rigging, or related engineering experience
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with lift planning and engineering software
Preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Heavy lift, specialized transport, or structural engineering experience
  • Familiarity with AISC, ASME, OSHA, and related industry standards
  • Experience with RISA-3D, AutoCAD, Inventor, MathCAD, and similar tools
