The Engineering Manager works closely with the Director of Engineering to define and implement departmental strategies in support of the goals and objectives of the organization. The primary responsibility of the Engineering Manager is to direct engineering resources and coordinate their activities to achieve maximum efficiency and produce cost-effective, high quality products. The Engineering Manager serves as the Chief Engineer, while leading and managing the day-to-day engineering operations related to on-time processing of the Engineered-to-Order (ETO) sales orders, product maintenance & enhancement, application of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, and the achievement of assigned WI's.
Maintain a positive and effective leadership role amongst subordinates through effective communication, one-on-one meetings, defined roles & responsibilities, clear expectations, regular guidance and feedback, and established priorities. The Engineering Manager shall. Aspire to the Leadership principles. Exemplify and assimilate the Engineering Standards Of Excellence. Provide input to strategic initiatives.
