PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:

The Engineering Manager oversees the development and execution of projects, manages budgets, and supervises multiple teams. They collaborate with other management personnel, provide instructions to engineering teams, and ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. They also conduct research and development for new designs, products, and processes, while maintaining technical accuracy and coordinating work with other managers and staff.

• Oversee ECM process to ensure engineering changes are completed and communication to all affected parties

• Support assembly processes by providing jigs and fixtures necessary to build conveyors, MCP and Sorters.
• Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
• Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.
• Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects
• Collaborate with the Centers of Excellence to ensure all information is understood and communicated
• Facilitates communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, budgets and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
• Maintains knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.
• Forges and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
