Job summary

Interroll is seeking a Spares and Kit Supervisor at our Georgia facility. You will lead the spare team, plan schedules, and ensure quality and timely delivery of spares, kit and warranty orders.

You will coordinate with sales, project management, and operations to meet on-time delivery goals, enforce safety practices, and develop performance reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

As a Spares and Kit Supervisor, you will be responsible for the one-time and efficient delivery of quality products on the Spares, Kit and Warranty orders.Continuously monitoring and improvingorder process to ensure maximum output, cost efficiency, and safe working conditions. This position involves the training and management of the spare team: planning work schedules, guiding team members, and taking disciplinary actions when needed. Also reports and collaborates on the team’s performance to the plant manager, master scheduler, production manager and makes recommendations regarding ways to improve employee efficiency and job satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive.The employee must perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities the supervisor requests. Job duties may change as required by the needs of the company.

• Plan and maintain schedule and necessary documentation of all spares, kit and warranty orders.
• Work with sales and project management to understand customers’ requirements and expectations.
• Communicate with operation teams including receiving, purchasing, production planning, and shipping to meet the on-time delivery goal.
• Ensure that daily order process of spares, kit and warranty are in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce and train team members of preferred occupational health and safety practices.
• Communicate expectations to spares and kit team members.Evaluate their performance.Ensure all team members have everything they need to achieve their goal and lead to their success.
• Compile reports for the spares and kit department and provide management with updates. The reports include but are not limited to S.Q.P.M.6S and on-time performance report. .
• Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
• Generates weekly 6’s audits.
• Collaborate with other departments for process and performance improvements.
• Work with sales teams to understand short-term and long-term forecasts. Propose updates for personal and material adjustments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess at least two years of similar or related experience.
• Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, bar graphs, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Possess teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.Possess the ability to communicate effectively with all Interroll employees in courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
• Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of MRP system; SAP applications preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, feel, or handle; the employee must regularly reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and/or vibration. The noise level in this environment is usually loud.
