Job summary

EPM is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a critical manufacturing engineering team at its Fort Wayne, IN site. The role focuses on driving engineering performance, supporting New Product Introductions, improving processes, and developing engineers in a fast-paced regulated environment.

You will shape site strategy, ensure FDA/QMS compliance, and partner across supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Strong CNC machining experience.
• Experience in a medical device environment (orthopedics preferred).
• New Product Introduction (NPI).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers, NPI Managers, CNC Programmers, and Product Development Engineers.
• Drive successful new product launches.
• Ensure FDA, QMS, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial teams.
• Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) during development and quoting.

This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving engineering performance, supporting new product introductions, improving manufacturing processes, and developing a team of engineers in a fast-paced regulated environment.
