Your Role at Tessy

At our Tessy Tooling location, you will manage and guide a mold design team through all phases of injection mold design projects, from concept creation to project completion, ensuring quality results, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Injection Mold design and development.
• Assist in quoting new design and building projects.
• Provide support with new product designs to ensure moldability, cost effectiveness, and the highest possible quality.
• Participate in manufacturing, scheduling, purchasing and QA in the identification and resolution of mold issues as needed.
• Align with customers on scope of work (SOW), lead mold design reviews and related meetings including concept reviews and final design reviews.
• Communicate with the customer on various aspects of the project, including serving as an escalation point for issue resolution.
• Contribute to formulation of company strategy and objectives.
• Mentor team members in finding ways to improve company KPIs.

What You’ll Bring

• College Degree preferred in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 years of experience is required in knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts related to the types of molds the company mold designs and builds.
• Must be 3D CAD proficient (preferably SolidWorks).
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills.

Compensation

Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
