Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and oversee a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting multifamily housing projects. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering and architectural staff, manage project execution, ensure quality standards, and serve as the primary engineering leader for the office.

This will be a full time position with 1 Work-From-Home day a week, and Fridays are half days.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Ohio PE strongly preferred).
• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with construction administration and field/site visits.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering project workloads, schedules, deadlines, and resource planning.
• Mentor and support engineers and architectural staff on technical matters.
• Perform QA/QC review of engineering deliverables before submission.
• Ensure projects meet applicable codes, regulations, and design standards.
