Praxt Talent in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Leader who will stay hands-on while guiding a growing engineering team.

You will perform architecture reviews, lead design sessions, and mentor engineers on cloud-native solutions across Azure and AWS, collaborating with product and security to deliver scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Depth in cloud-native architecture and modern application development.
• Strong interest in technical leadership and building a strong engineering team.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Generative AI experience is a plus as the team expands AI-enabled capabilities in the platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership building scalable cloud applications across Azure and AWS.
• Lead architecture guidance, design reviews, and coaching engineers on complex technical problems.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and direct technical coaching.
• Help lead and grow the engineering team across onshore and offshore members.
• Partner with Product, QA, Architecture, Security, and DevOps to deliver integrated solutions.
• Raise the engineering standard through SOLID principles, clean code, modern architecture patterns, and observability.
• Support planning and execution across multiple product initiatives.

Greater Cleveland, OH | Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite
