Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Brentwood, TN, to lead cross-functional delivery for large-scale digital and e-commerce initiatives spanning web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology delivery experience on large-scale digital platforms.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional programs with multiple engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, cloud, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, React/Next.js, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, CDN, and observability.
• Ability to establish structure, remove blockers, and improve delivery in Agile/Product models.

In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional delivery for large-scale digital and e-commerce initiatives spanning web and mobile platforms. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and DevOps/SRE teams to drive predictable execution, improve release readiness, and elevate the customer experience for a high-traffic consumer-facing environment.

Position Overview for the Engineering Manager:

• Lead end-to-end delivery for complex, customer-facing digital initiatives across web and mobile

Requirements for the Engineering Manager:

• 10+ years of technology delivery experience supporting large-scale digital, e-commerce, or customer-facing platforms
• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of modern architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud, distributed systems, modern web applications)
• Working knowledge of technologies such as Java/Spring Boot, React/Next.js, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, CDN, and observability (hands‑on coding not required)
• Proven ability to establish structure, remove blockers, drive decisions, and improve delivery predictability in an Agile/Product model
