Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering across two Bethel-area facilities. This hands-on role focuses on advancing process capability, driving NPI, and enabling growth through engineering innovation.

The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing engineering expertise in aerospace/defense or advanced metal manufacturing, with leadership to build a high-performing, cross-functional team on the factory floor and on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in aerospace & defense or advanced metal manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and Nadcap requirements.
• Hands-on approach on the production floor and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop engineering teams across two facilities to support production, NPI, and problem-solving.
• Drive process improvements to increase capacity, reduce scrap, eliminate downtime, and improve manufacturability.
• Own technical aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI), including feasibility, tooling, and process development.
• Partner with Operations to ensure manufacturing readiness and successful product launches.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for engineering and production issues.
• Ensure process documentation meets AS9100 and ITAR requirements.
• Support technology roadmap planning—automation, tooling upgrades, equipment selection, and capability expansion.
• Measure and report engineering performance and project status to executives.

This role is highly technical and focused on advancing process capability, driving NPI, and enabling growth through engineering innovation. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing engineering expertise, aerospace quality experience, and the leadership to build a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & develop engineering teams across both locations to support production, NPI, and technical problem-solving
• Drive process improvements to increase capacity, reduce scrap, eliminate downtime, & improve product manufacturability
• Own technical aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI), including feasibility, tooling, and process development
• Partner closely with Operations to ensure manufacturing readiness and a successful product launch
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods
• Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to resolve engineering and production issues
• Ensure process documentation meets AS9100 and ITAR regulatory requirements
