Job summary

Quick USA Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate a high-skilled engineering team focused on research and development. The role emphasizes creating new product lines and expanding existing lines within automotive and related industries.

You will manage multiple projects, develop timelines and budgets, and ensure compliance with specifications. Strong knowledge of metal stamping, welding, and paint processes, plus PDCA and Lean Six Sigma practices, is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or similar subject and/or 8-10 years’ experience.
• Leads and coordinates engineering functions including PFMEA, quality assurance, testing, production, and R&D of new and existing product lines.
• Serves as project manager for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing meetings, and ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Implement new launch projects and facilitate regular meetings related to launch.
• Reviews work for technical accuracy and maintains admin policies and standards.
• Keeps knowledge of trends and best practices to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.

Responsibilities

Engineering Manager

Summary

Manages and coordinates the work of highly skilled engineering staff placing particular emphasis on research and development with the objective of developing new product lines and expanding existing product lines within the Metal Stamping, Weld Assembly, and ED Coat Paint automotive or non-automotive industry.

Essential Duties

• Knowledge of Metal stamping, Welding, Paint, Design and Automotive program management. Extensive knowledge of Sales and Marketing
• Degree in Engineering or similar subject and/or 8-10 years’ experience.
• Leads and coordinates various engineering functions and operations including PFMEA, quality assurance, testing, production, and research and development of new and existing product lines.
• Serves as project manager for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Implement new launch projects and facilitate regular meetings related to launch.
• Reviews work and projects for technical accuracy.
• Establishes, implements, and maintains administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
• Facilitates process and procedure development with manufacturing department for new product development.
• Prepares and executes departmental budget.
• Facilitates communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
• Maintains knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
