Engineering Manager role at Miller Electric Mfg. LLC. The Components division is seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Engineering Manager to drive the design, development, and optimization of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). This highly visible role is pivotal in shaping technical excellence, inspiring innovation, and ensuring engineering initiatives are aligned with long‑term business strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Build and inspire a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of technical curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor engineers through stretch assignments that accelerate personal growth and career development.
  • Create balance by distributing meaningful, challenging work across team members to ensure both impact and engagement.
  • Actively champion and instill ITW’s Core Values within your team’s culture.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring accountability while empowering ownership.
  • Drive collaboration across departments and business units to align efforts with top priorities for schedule, cost, and resource optimization.
Strategic Execution
  • Partner closely with division leadership to drive engineering initiatives that align with Annual Plan (AP) and Long‑Range Plan (LRP) strategies.
  • Translate customer needs and technical requirements into actionable product roadmaps and development plans.
  • Oversee projects with discipline, ensuring progress is monitored, budgets are respected, and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions that safeguard both technical success and financial health.
Technology Leadership
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging PCBA and adjacent technologies, balancing innovation with practical business impact.
  • Champion continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency across manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure every project adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
