Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager in the greater Danville, VA area to lead engineering, maintenance, and reliability efforts at a high-volume manufacturing facility. The role focuses on improving equipment performance and driving safety and efficiency.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 7+ years of experience, and 3+ years of leadership, with CMMS, RCA, and capital project exposure. Lean, TPM, and safety program knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of engineering, maintenance, or reliability experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience with CMMS, capital projects, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Knowledge of WCM, Lean, TPM, and industrial safety programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Manage capital projects from planning through commissioning.
• Develop engineering and maintenance staff while promoting continuous improvement.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and EHS to achieve safety and operational goals.
