  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
  • Manage plant power reliability, including generators and backup power systems, ensuring readiness for peak demand periods and unexpected outages.
  • Ensure integrity and reliability of electrical, mechanical, and control systems through routine inspections, testing, and documented procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and skilled trades, providing hands-on technical guidance when needed.
  • Conduct regular plant walkthroughs and reliability assessments to proactively identify risks related to wear, vibration, alignment, structural integrity, and aging assets.
  • Oversee condition monitoring programs such as vibration analysis for motors and rotating equipment.
  • Ensure availability, functionality, and backup readiness of HMI screens, PLCs, and other control systems, driving standardization and documentation.
  • Establish clear troubleshooting, escalation, and rapid-response protocols for equipment failures or unplanned outages.
  • Drive training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen maintenance capability, technical depth, and consistency across the facility.
  • Track and report key maintenance and reliability metrics (e.g., downtime, PM compliance, MTBF, MTTR) to plant and operations leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or other high-reliability operational environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, including motors, vacuum systems, power generation, cranes, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Proven experience building and leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
