Job summary

Avient Corporation invites applications for its Engineering Leadership Development Program, a two-year rotational track across Avient manufacturing sites. Participants gain hands-on experience in process, project, reliability and quality engineering while developing technical, change management, and leadership competencies.

Throughout rotations, engineers receive mentoring from program and business leaders and work on value-adding projects that drive manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience preferred (co-ops/internships count).
• Must graduate by program start date, but no more than one year prior.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and communicate manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and revise processes to improve safety, quality and efficiency and generate cost savings.
• Research current and emerging technologies, evaluating process safety, quality and cost.
• Identify and solve issues with processes and equipment; coordinate maintenance, production and other resources to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Manage capital project activity for specification and installation of new equipment.
• Own change management projects to drive process improvement.
• Interact with Senior Management and build relationships across Avient globally.
• Other duties as assigned
