Job summary

Axalta's Mt Clemens, MI facility seeks an Engineering Manager to lead all engineering at the plant, ensuring safe, reliable operations and driving capital projects and process improvements.

You will manage a multi-discipline team, partner with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S and Quality to deliver operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 7+ years of engineering leadership in chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence across functions.
• Strong experience with PSM, capital projects, and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering functions to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and capital project execution.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, and Quality to deliver site objectives.
