Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence and cyber-physical solutions, seeks an Engineer Leader 1 to guide complex projects, validate world-class solutions, and mentor teams. The role spans technical oversight across disciplines, risk management, and client-facing design work.

The EL1 will drive engineering best practices, develop project artifacts, and ensure safety compliance while fostering trusted relationships to meet milestones across multi-disciplinary programs.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited program with construction experience (Bachelor’s).
• ABET accredited program with construction experience (Master’s).
• FE/EIT certification preferred.
• DBIA/LEED/NICET training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical discussions, projects, and programs.
• Validate world-class technical solutions on projects.
• Ensure engineering best practices across multiple disciplines.
• Manage technical risk on a project.
• Provide oversight and technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Mentor and develop upcoming engineers and technical experts.
• Prepare client-specific solutions.
• Drive development and maintenance of project artifacts.
• Identify and implement work process improvements.
• Review project details with leadership.
• Integrate data from multiple company systems and analyze insights.
• Ensure safety regulations are adhered to and resolve issues.
• Maintain positive relationships to achieve milestones.
