M.C. Dean is seeking an Engineer Leader 1 (EL1) to lead complex engineering programs, validate world class technical solutions, and drive best practices across multiple disciplines. The role emphasizes client trust, project oversight, and mentoring newer engineers.

Ideal candidates hold ABET‑accredited engineering degrees with 5–7+ years of construction experience, FE/EIT or DBIA preferences, and proven cost estimation and financial acumen to support project success.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited engineering degree required with construction experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree with construction experience preferred and ABET accreditation.
• FE/EIT, DBIA, LEED, NICET certifications are preferred to strengthen candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical discussions, projects, and programs.
• Validate world-class technical solutions on projects.
• Ensure engineering best practices across multiple disciplines.
• Manage technical risk on a project.
• Provide oversight and direction to engineering teams.
• Lead efforts to develop and mentor upcoming engineers.
• Prepare client-specific engineering solutions and project artifacts.
