Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to support the Director in overseeing engineering operations, building systems, and preventative maintenance for a premier Lake Tahoe resort. Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in hotel engineering or facilities management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities in a fast-paced resort environment.
• Knowledge of building codes, life-safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering with daily leadership and operation of the Engineering Department.
• Oversee maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance to support reliability and asset preservation.
• Lead and develop Engineering staff to meet safety and guest service standards.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and labor within the department.
