Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in hardware development, including precision components and/or sheet metal.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within a mechanical development team.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo).
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers in the design, development, and testing of components, hardware, and mechanical systems for custom cable assemblies and mechanical sheet metal cartridges.
• Oversee project timelines and milestones; communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product development.
• Develop and implement engineering development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for hardware development projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Direct the growth plan for the team and participate in interview/recruitment and onboarding.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
