You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy for AI integrations, manage sprint work, ensure code quality, and collaborate with product owners to align requirements with scalable solutions.

Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.What will you contribute?As part of Finastra’s AI COE, we are seeking Engineering Leads to oversee engineering pods to successfully embed AI capabilities into LaserPro.Responsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as an Engineering Lead will include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team including front-end, back-end, AI engineers, and DevOps specialistsPartner closely with the LaserPro Product Owner to translate product vision and requirements into technical solutionsOversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled features for LaserPro productsEstablish engineering standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks for the delivery podEnsure technical excellence across all aspects of development including code quality, testing, and documentationManage sprint execution, technical planning, and resource allocation across the engineering teamDrive architectural decisions and technical strategy for AI integrations into LaserPro productsFoster collaboration and knowledge sharing across front-end, back-end, AI, and DevOps disciplinesRemove technical blockers and resolve dependencies that impact team productivity and deliveryEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps practicesMonitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing improvements as neededMentor and develop engineering talent, providing technical guidance and career development supportEnsure engineering solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirementsCollaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to leverage shared platforms and servicesDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and team capabilitiesManage technical debt and balance feature delivery with platform stability and maintainabilityRequired Skills & Experience:Understanding of LaserPro domainsStrong technical leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teamsProven track record of delivering complex software solutionsDeep understanding of full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and infrastructureExperience with AI/ML engineering including model integration, deployment, and monitoringExpertise in modern software development methodologies including agile and lean practicesDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with product owners and translate requirements into technical solutionsExperience leading teams through the complete software development lifecycleStrong technical skills with hands-on experience in software architecture and designExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersTrack record of building high-performing, collaborative engineering teamsExperience with microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-native developmentStrong problem-solving abilities with focus on pragmatic, scalable solutionsUnderstanding of software quality practices including testing, code reviews, and technical documentationStrong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructureWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
