Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville/Peoria, IL is seeking an Engineering Manager for Intelligent Machine Systems to lead electronic systems and embedded software teams in new product introduction and lifecycle programs.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree required in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Direct supervisory experience and strong people management.
- Experience in systems, controls, and embedded software development.
- Experience with New Product Introduction and software validation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams across hardware and software development for NPI and lifecycle management.
- Ensure staffing, performance management, and career development.
- Drive product quality, execution excellence, and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with machine product groups to align development with timelines.
