Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah, part of LEFT LANE Hospitality Group, seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead engineering, maintenance, facilities, and life-safety operations for a luxury hotel in Savannah, GA. The role reports to the Area Director of Engineering and focuses on maintaining high standards of service and property upkeep.

The ideal candidate has strong technical leadership in a full-service hotel environment and is prepared to oversee budgeting, projects, and cross-department

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive engineering or maintenance experience in luxury hotel environments.
• At least two years of experience leading engineering or maintenance teams.
• Experience with CMMS/work-order systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance, facilities, and life-safety operations for the hotel.
• Supervise and develop engineering team members; enforce accountability and quality.
• Oversee preventive maintenance across guestrooms, spaces, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, inventory, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to support seamless hotel operations.
