Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah, operated by Left Lane Hospitality Group, LLC, seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead engineering, maintenance, facilities and life-safety operations for a luxury hotel in Savannah. Reporting to the Area Director of Engineering, you will guide a skilled team and manage critical systems and preventative maintenance to uphold high service standards.

Qualifications

• At least five years of progressive engineering or maintenance experience.
• At least two years of supervision of hotel engineering or maintenance staff.
• Experience in luxury/full-service hotel environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety).
• CMMS/work-order management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance, facilities, and life-safety operations for the hotel.
• Supervise and develop engineering team members; ensure accountability and quality.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Manage building systems, safety compliance, and capital projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
