You will own the technical roadmap, ship quickly, and tackle complex problems like automated vetting and scalable matching, while aligning engineering work with business impact. Direct access to the founder is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Led engineering teams (5–30+ people) at a startup or high-growth company.
• Hands-on experience with modern stacks and AI/ML tooling.
• Experience working in a distributed, async-first team.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap and ensure every effort maps to business impact.
• Lead and grow an engineering team that ships fast and iterates quickly.
• Tackle multi-layered problems: automated vetting, scalable matching, bottlenecks.
• Make hard prioritization calls and collaborate with the founder and product team to define success.
• Build an engineering culture with high ownership, high speed, and low bureaucracy.
