Job summary

Liberty Pumps is seeking a technically skilled employee to support assembly, testing, and certification activities in a lab/shop setting. The role involves learning assembly techniques, applying safety practices, and collaborating across departments to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year Engineering Technology degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with AC electrical equipment, wiring, and electrical safety is preferred.
  • 2-year degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with Liberty Pumps assembly techniques and equipment and provide technical support as needed.
  • Develop competence with applicable certification requirements (CSA, UL) and participate in test plans.
  • Conduct assembly activities for development, validation, and certification testing.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of laboratory build and test equipment, tools, and facilities.
  • Assist team in development efforts and provide feedback related to design, quality, and assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
