Job summary

Liberty Pumps is seeking a technically skilled employee to support assembly, testing, and certification activities in a lab/shop setting. The role involves learning assembly techniques, applying safety practices, and collaborating across departments to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year Engineering Technology degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

Must have strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with AC electrical equipment, wiring, and electrical safety is preferred.
2-year degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with Liberty Pumps assembly techniques and equipment and provide technical support as needed.
Develop competence with applicable certification requirements (CSA, UL) and participate in test plans.
Conduct assembly activities for development, validation, and certification testing.
Participate in the development and maintenance of laboratory build and test equipment, tools, and facilities.
Assist team in development efforts and provide feedback related to design, quality, and assembly.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
