TCCI Manufacturing is seeking an entry-level Lab Support Technician to join our engineering team in Decatur, IL. This role supports the lab by performing basic instrumentation tasks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.
You will assist with test setup, data collection, and documentation, under guidance from senior technicians. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in automotive or related field, basic lab safety knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office;

This role is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the engineering lab by performing basic technical tasks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. This role provides an opportunity to develop foundational skills in instrumentation, test setup, and equipment operation under the guidance of senior technicians and supervisors.
Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule: First Shift, 8-hour workday. The specific schedule will be mutually agreed upon by the employee and manager based on business needs.
