Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Menomonee Falls, WI for a contract-to-hire role. You will set up, run, and analyze tests, manage lab operations, and assist with wiring and panel assembly.

• Ensure thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed.
• Oversee daily lab operations, including equipment calibration, inventory management and 6s standards.
• Collect, document and analyze test data using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems, prepare detailed reports.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with lab equipment and experimental setups.
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs of lab equipment.
• Knowledge of machine component applications and assembly.
• Assemble/wire experimental bench top solutions based on Electrical Schematics.
• Wire production electrical control panels based on Electrical Schematics.

• Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed
• Oversee daily lab operations, including equipment calibration, inventory management and 6s standards
• Collect, document and analyze test data using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems, prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to engineering team
• Diagnose and resolve issues with lab equipment and experimental setups
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs of lab equipment
• Knowledge of machine component applications and assembly
• Assemble/wire experimental bench top solutions based on Electrical Schematics
• Wire production electrical control panels based on Electrical Schematics

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
