Actalent in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join the Electrical Test Engineering Operations team. You will execute electrical and electromechanical testing on complex hardware, troubleshoot failures, analyze data, and support product development and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes hands-on test setup, interpretation of schematics, documentation, and collaboration with other teams in an onsite contract-to-hire environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical system and component schematics.

Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our Electrical Test Engineering Operations team. This role involves executing electrical and electromechanical testing on complex hardware systems, troubleshooting failures, analyzing test data, and supporting engineering efforts in product development and manufacturing environments.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, robotics, or advanced manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in soldering, PCB rework, and harness build and assembly.
• Experience in test fixture building.

Work Environment

This position operates within an engineering lab environment focused on hardware testing. The setting is fast-paced, requiring collaboration with a cross-functional engineering team. Activities include a combination of test execution, troubleshooting, and engineering support.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
