Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. seeks a capable engineering lab supervisor to manage and support lab equipment and systems across multiple facilities. You will oversee daily maintenance, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and quality controls for university labs.

You will train faculty, staff and students on lab machinery, lead tours for recruiting events, and participate in budgeting with the Director of Engineering Labs. Strong leadership and compliance with safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years’ experience required.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal property and safety regulations preferred.
• Prior administrative oversight of lab environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, manage and support engineering equipment and systems in labs.
• Perform daily maintenance, monitor usage and coordinate repairs.
• Facilities management and support of labs and classrooms.
• Participate in staff meetings with lab managers and student technicians.
• Give tours to visitors for university recruiting events and external guests.
• Provide training to faculty, staff, students and external users on lab equipment.
• Support student competition teams, capstone projects and academic labs.
• Participate in budget management and strategic planning with the Director of Engineering Labs.
• Work as a team member, upholding LU’s Christian model and Mission.
