Job summary

Williams Companies offers an Engineering Intern program designed to shape the future of clean energy. Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration across Tulsa, Houston, Salt Lake City, and field locations.

You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, expand your network, and develop technical and interpersonal skills in a 10-to-12-week summer program with a housing stipend and relocation support for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, mechanical or petroleum engineering with graduation after December 2027.
• This internship is not sponsorable for OPT or CPT.
• Must be willing to relocate for the summer to internship locations.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of Williams core business and operating areas.
• Gathers and analyzes real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensure proper asset maintenance.
• Builds credibility with customers by contributing to major projects and capital expansions.
• Collaborates with various teams across operating areas and fields to achieve enterprise goals.
• Follows and supports Williams Values.
• Work schedule is generally Monday-Friday 40 hours/week; hybrid schedule may be available.
