Job summary

Eaton's Early Career Applications Engineering Internship Program offers hands-on experience in power distribution and control product knowledge. You will join a team to develop test fixtures, learn hardware design principles, and contribute to validation testing to meet system requirements.

Relocation to an Eaton site within the United States is required. Candidates must be enrolled in an electrical or mechanical engineering program with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (unrounded).
• Willing to relocate within the United States for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop test fixtures for verifying performance of switchgear and motor control assemblies.
• Collaborate with lead engineers on hardware design principles and test plans.
• Document and organize standards for control schematics and related collateral.
• Improve productivity of the application engineering function through testing and implementing engineering systems.
