Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking interns for projects in Norwood, Winthrop, and Westfield, MA. The program prepares you for leadership on job sites and in offices, with exposure to project engineering and field management across the United States.

Interns will assist with coordination, estimating change orders, bidding, scheduling, document control, safety, and subcontractor coordination, gaining hands-on experience in multiple divisions. Relocation may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 12-week work schedule preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimating cost for change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Safety management
• Participation in team meetings
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
