Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, seeks a limited-term, part-time engineering intern to join our South Central One Water department for May/June 2027 through August/September 2027.

The internship involves assisting engineers on project delivery, researching, data analysis, drafting reports, vendor communications, and site visits; candidates should have started civil or environmental engineering coursework and be prepared for pre-employment

Qualifications

• Completed at least two semesters of college-level civil, environmental, or chemical engineering coursework.
• Two semesters are required; four semesters preferred.

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for limited-term, part-time engineering intern to join our South Central One Water department to work on engineering projects starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027. The hours for this position are 30+ per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting engineers with the delivery of projects
• Conducting research
• Compiling and analyzing data
• Drafting technical reports
• Communicating with equipment vendors
• Reviewing construction documents
• Visiting construction sites

A valid driver's license will be required.

Successful candidates must have:

• Completed at least two semesters (4 semesters preferred) of college-level coursework in civil, environmental, chemical engineering or a closely related field

The ideal candidate will have with any/all of the following:

• Civil or Environmental engineering coursework
• Microsoft Office software experience
• AutoCAD or other design software experience
