Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. in the United States is seeking limited-term, full-time engineering interns to support water, wastewater and stormwater projects, starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027.

You will assist engineers, conduct research, analyze data, draft reports, visit construction sites and interact with vendors. A valid driver's license is required, and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering.

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has positions available for limited-term, full-time engineering interns to work on water, wastewater and stormwater projects starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting engineers with the delivery of projects
• Conducting research
• Compiling and analyzing data
• Drafting technical reports
• Communicating with equipment vendors
• Reviewing construction documents
• Visiting construction sites

Successful Candidates Must Have

• Completed at least two semesters (4 semesters preferred) of college-level coursework in civil, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering at an accredited college or university

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following

• Coursework in hydraulics, mechanics and materials, water engineering, etc.
• Microsoft Office, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, PCSWMM, and/or ArcGIS software experience
• Previous relevant internship experience

A valid driver’s license will be required.
